DERIVATIVE INSTRUMENT
(DERIVATIVE) (производный инструмент (производный)) Финансовый инструмент, стоимость которого устанавливается на основе ожидаемых колебаний цены представляемого им актива, например товара, валюты или ценной бумаги. Производные инструменты могут использоваться для хеджирования позиции или для установления “синтетической” открытой позиции. Примерами производных являются фьючерсы, варранты, опционы, свопы и т.д.
